GraSP_MAT Workshop Held at ICCBIKG 2025

On September 26, 2025, as part of the 3rd International Conference on Chemo and Bioinformatics – ICCBIKG 2025, the GraSP_MAT workshop was held, focusing on the theme Sustainable Bioactive Materials from Grape Skins – From Waste to Wound Healing. The workshop explored the transformation of waste from the wine industry into bioactive materials for applications in medicine and food technology, contributing to the development of a circular bioeconomy.

Members of the GraSP_MAT and GraSP teams presented their research within the framework of the Promis2023 and Proof of Concept projects, funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. Research associate Sandra Jovičić Milić, Prof. Dr. Dušan Dimić, and teaching associate Marko Simić presented project results through oral presentations, while Prof. Dr. Jovana Bradić, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Kočović, and research associate Marko Antonijević showcased their findings via poster presentations.

The workshop was highly acclaimed and opened opportunities for new collaborations between academia and industry.
